Egle Zvirblyte
- you can immediately see a whole range of her work! also you can't see on the screenshot but the images change of their own accord which is a nice touch
- something else you can't see- when you hover your mouse over one of the images the title of the project/piece of work pops up with a link that takes you to another page, where you can find all the information about it
- you can see straight away her go-to colour palette
- there are clear links to her work, shop and contact information
- her contact page is clear and concise, and she's added a little bit of humour which shows a bit of her personality
Cecile Gariephy
- slightly different interface- you can scroll across to look at all her work which is nice!
- though you can't click on any of the images to find out more information about them
- nice bold and clear links
- it looks very neat and tidy which makes it really easy to look at and navigate around. the muted colour palette helps with this although I think it's just her most recent work at the beginning so it could be any colours!
- the white space draws more attention to her illustrations
- her 'about' page is clear although could do with one of her illustrations next to it
ZEBU
- similar to Egle's you can immediately see a range of their work
- although they also include blank spaces of colour to break up the images a little which I think is good! they also tie in with the colour scheme
- the top three images on the page are links to 'screen prints', 'paintings' and 'murals' which are the main points of their practise. quite clever as these are the first three images you see! and when you click on them it takes you to a page with all their work in that particular category
- little side-bar stays the same throughout the website
- i like the bold type
- there is a little animation on the 'about' page which makes it quite fun
Nous Vous
- quite a fun little title page with a link to each of their individual works and then a link to a page of their collective work
- each of the individual pages has a bio which explains a little bit about each of them
- clear and bold links, lots of white space
- use of black and white is quite contemporary
- the side bar being vertical is a bit different to it being along the top of the page
- i like how they have put the type over the imagery in the first page- it works well together
