This is how their feed looked after I had posted each one of my images! I think they work well as a 6 and i'm glad I chose the ones I did. I did mock up some possible layouts on photoshop using a screenshot of their instagram page to get a sense of how they would look once I had posted so that definitely helped. Below are each of the individual posts including the captions etc:
What i've taken away from this experience/positives:
- I think I managed to get some good engagement which I was really happy about! Before I had this weird fear that I would get zero likes and feel really embarrassed, or that their followers wouldn't be that interested in my images. but people seemed to like them!
- I gained quite a few followers from doing the takeover! I don't have many on my illustration account as I haven't had it for too long as I always just used a different account. Also I image the type of people who followed me are creatives which is good
- It's actually made me feel quite a lot more confident about my work, I don't feel as nervous as getting my work out there anymore which is a huge positive for me
- it's been really good doing something slightly out of my comfort zone; I wasn't sure when they first asked but i'm so glad i went ahead and did it
- it was fun! i really looked forward to posting each day
