During the Scott Bakal talk I found it an interesting insight into a practitioner with such a huge amount of creative experience. He showed us his creative journey and we got to see how far he had progressed within his practice. It was amazing to see how far he had come and how different his recent work is from when he first started it; it's made me think about where I could be 10 or 20 years down the line- will my work be similar? or will it be completely different? what kind of work will I be creating and for who? It's quite a strange thing to think about the amount that could change in the future. I'm glad we got the opportunity to listen to such a successful illustrator, he continues to work for some huge clients which just shows that commitment is key.
